The trail begins just across the drainage from the boardwalk (see Bill on trial left).

You won't have to use this acrobatic creak crossing that Brian did.

Brian left the trail (above to the left) to investigate rocks exposed along the creek.


Once again Brian is in the creek looking at rocks.

 


Near sand cave St. Peter Sandstone exposures feature spectacular iron oxide staining and cements.
